There are a few different websites out there that are interactive with your friends, family, and strangers to say the least. One of the most popular website is myspace. Although I do have a myspace page I hardly ever use and maybe check my myspace site once every other week. The wave of the future is Facebook. This site if very easy to use and make it simple to find some of your long lost friends, and keep close contact with those you don't see very often.
