GOD ALONE

Prophet and apostle seeing,
God Alone is still revealing.
Vision clear for all, the willing;
Christ enthroned, the heart is filling.


Praying, praising, sight amazing,

At the throne, on Glory gazing.

He is God Alone.

Above He stands, all holy burning;
God alone, my soul is turning.
Face that shines, a heart all glowing,
Creatures praise, submission showing.

Full of fear, a heart near failing,
Lips unclean, my sin assailing.
Held by Him, His hand all-caring.
Christ alone, my burden bearing.

Meek He stands, His blood atoning,
Ever praying, ever owning.
Lamb all pure, with wisdom holy,
He my Savior, always only.
