The time of year has come for play-offs. I really like this time of year because, the Detroit Redwings are playing in the 2nd round of the NHL Playoffs against the San Jose Sharks. The Redwings always bring some high impact and fast pace hockey.... What do you expect of HOCKEYTOWN USA?Then you have our very own Detroit Pistons who the past few years have been a top notch contender in the NBA. The Pistons are playing the Orlando Magic in the NBA playoffs. Although I don't think we will ever see a team as good as the Bad Boys back in the 80's era this year team has a well rounded team of players..... They are very dominant and know how to score.
Lastly we have our very own local hometown Kalamazoo Wings who blazed by the Flint Generals in the first round. Kalamazoo Wings start the next series tomorrow against the Muskegon Fury in the best of seven series. Kalamazoo Wings have been a real contender in the UHL and look to bring back home the Turner Cup. Stayed tuned here and I will keep you posted on how each of these teams above pan out in their individual sports playoffs.
