Michigan Defeats Cross State Rival Michigan State.

Well in all honesty I didn't anticipate Michigan to dominate over Michigan State tonight like they did. Senior guard Dion Harris scored 24 points to lead the U-M men's basketball team to a 67-56 victory over intrastate rival Michigan State Tuesday, Feb. 27, in Crisler Arena. Harris had the magic touch all evening, shooting 7-of-14 from the field and a perfect 8-of-8 from the free-throw stripe. Senior center Courtney Sims and senior forward Brent Petway added 13 and seven points, respectively, for Michigan, which concludes the regular season Ohio State Saturday, March 3 in Ann Arbor.

Miracles do happen and I guess there is a slim chance to Michigan to beat Ohio St..... Like I said "slim chance" but, upsets do happen and anybody can beat anybody on any given day. Michigan needs a good showing against Ohio State and advance far in the Big Ten Tournament if not win it in order to make the NCAA Tournament of 64 teams (actually 65... think about it) Keep rooting for the Maize and Blue.... They just might surprise you.

Was that Jalen Rose in that #5 jersey? Oh wait, that was 15 years ago. It's good to see Michigan beat state in hoops. There was a while there when Michigan couldn't beat the spartans at all, or anybody. I would love to see Michigan knock off the buckeyes and stick it to those sweatervest wearing freaks. Go blue.

Anybody who beats Wisconsin deserves to be knocked off. I really hope that Michigan can do it. I was very happy to see them beat State. :)
